Fred was my coach for a while at Municipal Gardens. I remember him being firm, but fair. Thanks for the great memories. Coach Fath.

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his Word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this hope it is possible for you to see him again. The best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to Jehovah in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7). Please allow God to help you heal by means of his consoling Word, the Bible. May all the many wonderful memories that Fred your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.
To the Fath Family -
My sincerest condolences on the passing of Mr. Fath. Simple a great teacher, mentor, and example to everyone. He always lived such a balanced life, always smiling, always offering an encouraging word to an athlete, a student, and even a stranger.
He is with the Lord now, but still looking down from heaven and smiling at his beautiful family. He will always be with you.
Again, my sincerest condolences on Mr. Fath's passing.

Denise,
My sincere condolences on the passing of your Father. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family through this difficult period. God Bless
Dear Denise,
Only someone who has gone through this moment is who can understand the feelings involved in these hours. We were born and grew up having with reference to front our parents. As we move away from them in the course of our lives, they remain our reference and when they depart this reference also goes, seem to have lost ground. God in his infinite goodness illumines the way of his father on this new journey of your life.
Luiz

Thoughts and prayers to the whole Fath family. May you take comfort in knowing what a great man Fred was. He coached my son and two daughters. Their greatest lesson was sportsmanship and Christian values in sports. Fred and Barbara were dear friends of my parents, (Barb and Lew Rosner) and whenever I would run into Fred he never failed to ask how my mom was and always added that he missed my dad. He will be missed.
I worked as the secretary at St. Christopher for 10 years. Fred was a frequent visitor with his big smile and his wonderful stories. He was such a family man but also never met a stranger.
God sure called a good guy home. Deepest sympathies to Barbara and family. The memories he made with each of you will be treasures for years to come.
To the Fath family,
I am sorry for your loss and wish you strength during this difficult time. Denise was my manager here at TE Connectivity and I now understand where she gets her drive and wonderful personality. It was a pleasure reading the life and legacy of Mr Fath and wish all those he touched lead by his example of leadership and coach those who may need guidance.
With love,
Robert & Cindy Sanchez.
Denise.
So sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Best regards,
Dean
Dear Steve, Lisa, and children; Our Father called his Angel home, knowing your dad / Grandpa will eternally shine from the hearts of all those blessed to know him. May you continue to find peace and comfort as God's everlasting love envelops you this day and forever.
Fred Fath. ..what a great man he was...I had the honor of coaching with Fred at St. Christopher for a few years. I have a story I would like to pass on to everbody ,especially young coaches. I was coaching a St Christopher game against a team at St.Susana in Plainfield . I received my first technical foul. To say the least I was pretty embarrassed.,so at the next practice I told Fred..he said to me what did you do?I told him I stepped on the floor and they T'd me....He looked at me and said...Gary ,do you know how many technical fouls I've had in 50 years of coaching? I asked how many and he said two. Then in his nurturing way he told me I had one left....It was the greatest advice I have ever received because in my 15 years of coaching I never received another technical foul.Everytime I got a bad call or got upset I always thought of what Fred had told me, and usually decided it was not worth using my last technical foul....I would like to pass this on to young coaches just getting started....always remember you only have two technical fouls so use them wisely. ...Thank you Fred Fath...you were a legend we will never forget!!
Prayers for the entire Fath family. Fred was always a great example how to live life. Faith, family and friends were always foremost in his mind.
I know all the kids he coached or mentored over the years are better people because of the time they spent with him.
He will be missed but not forgotten.
There's only one thing that I long for
When I reach my home on high
To see my Jesus in His glory
And to reign with Him on high
I'll be so glad to see my Papaw
Who has gone, gone on to that land
Oh, but I long to see my Jesus
And by His side to stand
So sorry for your loss Kevin. You and your family are truly blessed to have him with you for such a long time. He may be gone but his memories will always be with you. Praying for you and the family,
John Clark
Fred was a dear friend of mother from childhood she always called him by his nickname , Toughnut. I remember Fred as a fun, happy go lucky man who always had a smile on his face. He coached so many of us during those glorious years of the 60's and 70's growing up in Speedway. The entire Ray / Doolittle family expressed our sympathy to the family and pray you cherish your precious memories of a life well lived.
Sorry for your loss. I have many great memories of Mr. Fath and the one that sticks out the most was what a great family man he was. Mr. Fath always had a smile on his face and loved to joke around with me when I was over to their home. The world was definitely a better place with him in it and now Heaven is.......The Albrights.
I can not put into words how much I appreciate everything Mr. Faith has done for my daughter. He was a great coach and a better man. My condolences to the family.
To the family of Fred Fath,
My prayers reach out to all of you at this time.
Fred made a difference in the lives of so many expecially within the Catholic Community of St. Christopher. Countless youth of the parish name him as a positive role model in their lives.
Rest in Peace.
Barbara E. Leek
Prayers of support and healing go out to the entire Fath family. Your husband, father, and grandfather touched many lives in such a positive manner.
Recently I was taking with Scott about the number of kids Mr. Fath coached over the years. It was truly amazing and has to be some sort of a record but that isn't why he did it I'm sure!
Waking into an AAU or high school game and seeing Mr. Faith's big smile was always a joy that made me smile. After getting a popcorn I knew we would share a moment of conversation about the two loves of his life. His family and basketball.
RIP Fred

So very sorry to hear of Fred's passing. My heart goes out to your family and I will carry you in my prayers. Fred will be truly missed. God Bless.
Devasted to hear the passing of Fred today. I so enjoyed his friendship and just being around him. Feel very fortunate to have worked with him at St Christopher. His love of basketball and coaching young kids was infectious.
Fred coached all 5 of my kids at St Christopher, including Emily. What a great person and role model for us all. He will be dearly missed and I will not forget the many lessons he taught.
God bless Fred, Barbara and the entire Fath family.
My first memory of Mr. Fath is when I was a little girl he would stop by our house to pick up one of my brothers for basketball practice or a game and he would always play our piano. I think it was The Marines' Hymn The Halls of Montezuma, we all got a kick out of that. Fred coached all three of my boys and all my brothers. I'm sure they are still practicing some of the life lessons he taught them today. He was a life long friend to my Father and Mother Earl and Louise Goddard and he will be missed by us all. Thank you Fred for all the hours spent on and off the court with our family! My heart goes out to the Fath family our prayers are with you.
