Sending my condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Johnnie Jones. May God walk with you in your time of grief. Connie Jones - Giroff, my heart is with. God bless you. Brad
My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy but may you please be comforted by God's word the Bible that says that there is going to be a resurrection. Acts 24:15 says there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, and with this hope it is possible for you to see him again. More of God's promises at Rev. 21:3,4 talk about a restored paradise where the human family will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free of sickness, disease and death as we welcome back our dear loved ones. May these Bible verses strengthen and sustain you along with the many other promises of God found at www.jw.org. May all the many wonderful memories that Johnnie your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.
Johnnie Jones, What a terrific person and all around great guy. Jerry and I worked with Johnnie on so many different jobs that it's hard to remember them all. I think the best was building and wiring the "A" frame cabin in Owen County. Those were some of the best times ever although we were never paid. There was never a time that money changed hands between us for any job that we did for each other. Johnnie would help us on a project here at our home and we would help him on anything anywhere that he needed something done.
We were blessed to have known his first wife, Norma, a jewel of a lady. She kept him on the straight and narrow (which was not an easy task at times) until we lost her.
We had the pleasure of attending Johnnies second wedding to Katherine, who also is a sweet and special lady.
My heart breaks for the entire Jones family because Jerry and I both know what a special person we have all lost. He will be so missed by so many. May God's loving arms wrap you all tight at this most sad time.
Love,
Melanie and Jerry
You will be missed Johnnie. You were always so friendly and great to be around. Rest In Heaven.
Johnnie stood as a father figure for many in his extended family. He loved life and spent much of his time keeping busy on never ending projects - thats one of the things I enjoyed about him. I hope I always will have the zest for life he did!
We will miss you this summer at the pool. Lots of good times, really enjoyed your Watermelon fruit baskets on the Fourth of July. Fun times at the cabin fishing and sitting by the fire. Many fun dinners at O Charley's, Beef O Brady's and Cullvers. Glad our family got a chance to know you.
