Jamie Marie Mikesell, 37, of Indianapolis passed away January 11, 2014. She was born February 12, 1976 ind Indianapolis, IN to David E. Walker and Sandra L. Serano. Jamie was a stay at home mom of 7 kids, who always put her kids needs before hers. She was a loving wife and grandmother of 3, who loved spending time with her family. Jamie passed away 13 days after giving birth to her youngest son, Kevin. She had an amazing personality and could talk to anybody for hours at a time, was loved by many and was very friendly and outgoing. Jamie attended Friendship Christian Church from January 2009 - September 2013 and she recently attended Southland Community Church. She worked at the Speedway gas station and Wal Mart. Jamie enjoyed playing cards, watching and going to movies, walking in the mall, shopping, baking, read, soak in the bathtub, doing crossword puzzles, playing candy crush and Dr. Mario. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry R. Mikesell, to whom she was married to for 18 years; sons, Kevin Mikesell, Austin Mikesell, David Mikesell, Joey Mikesell; daughter, Tabi Mikesell, Chelsea Mikesell and Sami Mikesell;sisters, Rhonda Snyder, Kimberly Hiers and Melissa Walker; nieces, Danielle Ratliff and Haley Walker; nephew, Stephen Snyder and grandson, Christian Mikesell. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17 from 4 pm - 8 pm at Southland Community Church, 5800 W. Smith Valley Road, Greenwood, IN. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18 at 1 pm also at the church.
