This picture is how I knew Jamie. I talked with Jamie at Southland Community Church in the cafe on the Sunday before she went to the hospital to have her baby. She was so excited and couldn't wait to bring him to church to meet us. Being who I am, I gave her a little motherly advice and suggested she might want to wait a few weeks with all the flu germs, etc. She laughed and agreed. Later that same day I ran in to her at the movies. She was having a great time with her daughter as I recall and I teased, asking why she still hadn't had the baby. I never knew that would be the last time I would talk with her here on the earth. I will see you in Heaven, Jamie. I know your family will have a difficult time without you but they will take care of each other and that beautiful new baby you brought in to this world. May God bless the Mikesell family.
