Obituary of Adolph Lambert

Adolph L. Lambert, 84, of Indianapolis passed away January 8, 2014. He was born January 16, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN to Martin and Anna (Kocjan) Lambert. Adolph worked for the Indianapolis Fire Department for 38 years, retiring as a lieutenant. He proudly served his country in the Army by serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Slovenian National Home and Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He enjoyed yard work, fishing and spending time in the country. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty (Hammond) Lambert. He is survived by his son, Frank (Beverly) Lambert; brother, Martin A. Lambert; nieces and nephews, Martin "Andy" (Kay) Lambert, Karen (Robert) Zarich, Joe (Jackie) Lambert, Paul Lambert, Phillip (Tamera) Boocher Lambert, Theresa (Greg) Smith and Greg (Christine) Lambert and one grandchild, Kendall Davis. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 4 pm - 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th Street, Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 901 N. Holmes Ave, Indianapolis. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 50 E. 91st St., #100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
