I suppose this is not so much of a story as it is an expression of the fondest memories. It seems like not so long ago I saw your smiling face and heard your kind words. The weekend visits when Mom and I would come to visit you and Uncle Tootie were always and adventure.

As a small boy I would burst with happiness when Mom told me we were going to stay a night or two with you and family in Indianapolis. You always had kind words and a heart that radiated love for all your family and friends.

I can not recall anything but words of kindness and warmth from your caring heart. I always thought of you as a role model for true expression and example of God's love for his people. You emanated God's love, mercy and compassion. Until now, you may not had realized the positive impact you made in peoples lives.

The family gatherings at Grandma Funks were truly enriched by your presence. This visits with you and family are worth more than silver and gold. You were always such a good Aunt, Sister to my Mother and a Godly role model for your children, extended family and all who knew you.

Truly, I can not fully express my love for you, or the way you touched so many lives. You brought joy and happiness to my family and I.

You are and always will be greatly missed. Someday I'll see you again. And what a glorious day that will be.
