Obituary of Rosemary Brooks

Rosemary Lucille Harbin Brooks of Avon passed away on June 12, 2013. She was born on May 21, 1918 in Green County, Indiana to the late Jesse Emory and Frances (Tully) Harbin. She was 95 years of age. Rosemary was a loving and devoted wife of 35 years to Mr. Wesley William Brooks who preceded her in death in 1981. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Rachel Ann Brooks Eusey. Rosemary received her master's degree from Indiana University (1936 - 1942). Her interests include IU alumni association, music, traveling, ceramics and gardening. Rosemary taught Piano from her home and was employed as a secretary with the YMCA, a music accompanist at Washington High School, a teachers aid for Ritter Ave Free Methodist Church and Daycare and the Indianapolis Public Schools. Rosemary was a loving and caring mother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her five children David Richard (Patty) Brooks, Sharon Rose Brooks (Randy) Munson, Michael Wesley (Tammy) Brooks, Janice Lee Brooks (Dave) Young and Gregory Allen (Sue) Brooks, 20 grandchildren Renee, Donny, Michelle, Michael, Eric, Heather, April, Jamie, Angie, Amy, Michael, Gabe, Brandon, Holly, Bill, Abbey, Alex, John, Bill and Stacie, 16 great-grandchildren Madalynn, Sydney, Annabel, Max, Ethan, Tyler, Tristan, Tianna, Natalie, Isaac, Isabella, Sophia, Kendrick, Willy, Jake and Thomas.
