Obituary of Jody Nunnally
Jody Lewis Nunnally, 55, of Indianapolis died Monday May 27, 2013. Jody was born in Mesa, AZ on July 12, 1957 and is survived by his parents Leroy and Gladys (Rackley) Nunnally. Jody was and airline mechanic for AAR, United and Lucas Aviation. He is received his Bachelor's Degree in general studies from Indiana University. He loved building models, playing golf, writing children stories, playing the piano, guitar and trumpet. Jody served in many leadership positions for over 30 years and once served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a dedicated foster parent of 41 different children over the years. Jody loved to participate in charity work like walks, runs and bike rides. He also participated in the mini marathon and night ride.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Jewel A. Nunnally-Phillips. He is survived by his wife Jean, his parents Leroy and Gladys Nunnally of Anniston, AL, two sons, Javan L. Nunnally and Jaron O. Nunnally both of Indianapolis, a daughter Jeanna E. Nunnally of Indianapolis, two step-sons, Justin M. (Rachel) Bingham of Northville, MI and Joshua W. (Sandra) Bingham of Lincoln, CA and a son-in-law Douglas (Sarah) R. Phillips of Indianapolis, four granddaughters, Elyse and Charlotte Bingham of Lincoln, CA, Moira Bingham of Northville, MI and Lily Phillips of Indianapolis and four grandsons, Jack Bingham of Lincoln, CA, Lochlan Bingham of Northville, MI, Landon and Colton Phillips of Indianapolis and four brothers, Roy Nunnally of Mesa, AZ, Ben Nunnally of Anniston, AL, Mark Nunnally of Dallas, GA, Dan Nunnally of Golden Springs, AL.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 31, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Stevens Mortuary 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 110 N White River Pkwy W Dr., Indpls. Interment will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Mortuary.
