I didnt get the chance to know Emily on a personal level, but i bet she was great!!! . She didn't give up on options on what was next to try until I had an MRI & turned out I was diagnosed with fluid on my brain. She made sure to do all tests needed & to make sure she got me an appointment with the neurologist.
Im thankful to have been a patient of hers & im sorry for the loss of her to her family & friends!!! Prayers. To all who knew Emily!! She will definitely never be forgotten!!
There are people who bless us with their presence, infectious laughter, joy and caring. Emily is/was one of those spirits. I had the pleasure and privilege of working with her at The Heart Center of Indiana early in her career. She was one of the kindest people I ever met. Her presence helped other people to want to be their best selves, as that is who she was.
I just learned of her death and there are no words, other than to express what a loss this is for all of us, those who knew her, and those who will never have the chance to meet her.
I'm so sorry.
I worked with Emily at Ascension St. Vincent in the CVU. She definitely worked hard on her education and getting to where she wanted to be. I remember how excited she was when she bought her house. I retired before she completed her FNP and didn't get to share in that excitement but I am very proud of her for all she accomplished and I am sure her family is as well. I pray for comfort and strength for her family and her friends. A terrible loss without a doubt.

I worked with Emily in cvu, she was so knowledgeable and sweet!!! I pray you will find peace and I am sure she is with God !!! My sincere sympathy to all her family and friends. Kim Oconnor
Emily was one of a kind for sure and a definite light that shined brightly! I worked with Emily at the Heart Center and always enjoyed working and laughing with her. She will be so greatly missed and she truly touched so many people’s lives. I will always remember her as my “birthday twin” from the Heart center and always enjoyed seeing her chase her dreams on Facebook. Sending my sincerest condolences to her family during this difficult time.
Emily is the first friend I remember ever having. I remember being so excited to invite her to my birthday party. Although we lost touch, I’m grateful to have known someone so caring. I’m praying for her parents, siblings, and her niece that I know she was so in love with.
To The Johnson Family, our prayers for peace are with you all, at this time.
Emily quite possibly saved my life. She recently discovered a serious aorta problem that will require surgery soon. Thanks for having such a wonderful family member. She was special.

To the Johnson family, may God give you comfort and healing in your time of need. I would like to thank you all for sharing Emily with us. I've had the pleasure of meeting Em while working at St. Vincent Hospital (CVPV). We were our own little family on that unit. Emily was super friendly with the biggest heart. Easy to talk to and non judgemental. Mr &Mrs Johnson you have raised one beautiful young lady. I'm so honored in saying I was able to know her. Inside and outside of the workplace. Until we meet again Em ❤️ Fly High. Love Always Alice J.

Sending many prayers to you all. Emily was such a beautiful person. She was one of the first gals I meet when I moved to Indianapolis. She was always the light of our hang outs. I am very blessed to have known her and become one of her friends. You all will remain in my prayers for weeks to come. Love ya EMILY
Sweet, sweet girl…I saw you grow and change before my very eyes for such a long time along with your brothers and sister. I can’t forget hearing “Hi Momma” when I saw you at the store just a few months ago and you told me how well everything was going. I love you and your family so very much. May you rest well precious one and watch over your Momma, Lauren, Ian and Mikey until they can see you again . Xoxoxo

To Emily’s family: I am so sorry for your loss. Emily was a joy in the classroom and shared her joy to lift others up. Please know of my sympathy, love and prayers.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. Amen.
Emily, you will forever be missed and I will never forget your beautiful smile. You are the sunshine to alot of hearts you've touched.
Our angel Emily
I have known Emily since she was born, always the sweetest person you could be around. She will certainly be missed by everyone. I will keep your family in my prayers during this very difficult time.
Emily was my preceptor when I first started at the Heart Center. I will never forget how welcoming and encouraging she was to me. We had lots of laughs on our shifts together, it was never a dull moment with her. She was so full of knowledge and always gave so much guidance. She embodied everything that a nurse should be but not only that, she was a wonderful and caring person overall. I am so saddened by this news and I pray for her family and friends. May she rest in peace and may she live on through the ones that loved and knew her.
Emily was a lovely young woman. My heart goes out to Jennifer, Lauren, Ian and Mikey for losing such a wonderful daughter and sister.
HUGS HGS AND MORE HUGS Prayers Always , Love form Beth Reger Clark & Family
Too young to be taken from your family --no one would have ever thought this would be happening.
May your family find peace during this time through the memories they had with you. Know friends will be there for them but no one can replace you. Please watch over them and give them the strength to move forward on a daily basis.
You will be missed but never forgotten. The Vela Family
Em, everything I am is because of our conversation on that CVPV floor when I told you I was quitting. You had a way of making things better when I was down. You have always had a big heart and were full of laughs. This moment is all surreal. My condolences and prayers to the family. CVPV FOR LIFE and forever in my heart.
