Steve and I were old Local #73 apprentices during the same years mid 60's. I knew Steve to be kind, strong, honest, hardworking with a super friendly smile. May God welcome Steve open armed. May He hold all Steve's family in His protective arms.

Steve has been a family friend most of my life and my dad's life, I went to school with his kids, I've had nothing but good memories of Steve and his family, I was sad to get this notice and my family sends it's prayers

When I first moved here to Indiana I was alone and raising a kid, this family adopted me helped me get a footing and held on to me kept me close for fifteen years! Steve and Linda were like parents to me. I will miss the stories the laughter and the gatherings with these elders. They are forever etched in my heart and soul and until our next journey may God keep you fill you with love and peace till we meet again!

Steve was like a father to me. Steve and Linda (Dad and Mom Evan) graciously invited me to live with them my senior year of High School so that I could graduate with my class. The entire Evan family treated me like one of their own. The love and bond between them all is extraordinary. I feel so blessed to have know and loved Dad Evan and will carry him with me the rest of my days. I have so many funny memories!

I have known Stevie all his life. To me, he was like one of my brothers. We caddied

at Speedway GC when we were young. After a loop we would go cool off at Eagle Creek South of 10th street swimming hole BAB. One great memory of Stevie is he was the first wrestler to make the state finals for Cathedral High School. Stevie, my older brother John and I were on the first wrestling team at Cathedral.

I not going to mention the numerous Donnybrooks we participated in. I'll miss him dearly. Uncle David
