Condolences
I remember meeting Patrick at the bowling alley while I was with my best friend Susan. He talked to us and soon he was only talking to Susan! All the memories and the wonderful times! He is well and truly missed what a big loss his passing is. I want to comfort you Susan and let you know how much you are loved. I wish I could be there with you and give you a big hug. My thoughts and prayers are being sent up for you. I am here for you please reach out anytime. Much love my friend. This scripture reference came to me about Patrick: Luke 2:13-14 - And suddenly there appeared with the angel a great multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying:‶Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests!″ What a heavenly band greeted him! Friends, family, and loved ones he lived such a big life meant so much to so many. Had a blessed life! The grief of his loss will pass and the joy of knowing him will replace it! The light will return and I know you will embrace it.
I am still in disbelief that my friend Patrick Lewis passed away, I never thought the last conversation I had with him a few days before he passed will be the last conversation. Patrick was a good man who loved his family very, very much. He will be forever missed. To his lovely wife I am no longer in Indy but if you need someone to talk to I am here for you. Rip in peace my friend will see you again in heaven.

My mother and uncle Ellen and Elvin grew up in Indianapolis both have passed on but Patrick reached out to me when my uncle was sick and checked in on me on occasion. My dearest condolences and prayers to Uncle Patrick’s family and friends. I meet Uncle Patrick as a little girl through my daddy Jerry. Whenever I visited Indy, he made sure to always see me, show love, and make sure I ate good. I never thought that my last visit to Indy would be my last time sitting and eating Uncle Patrick’s fabulous fish and enjoying his great conversations.
My prayers are with all the family. Susan, it has been a blessing to know you and Patrick. I will miss Patrick tremendously but knowing he is at peace with our Savior and in pain no more is a blessing. I will miss Patrick's contagious smile and huge bear hugs and pokes in my sides unexpectedly that always made me scream and everyone in the bowling alley could hear me. Till we meet again Patrick roll some strikes in heaven. With much love Effie Carey

40 years of friendship. You will truly be missed but never forgotten. RIH. Love Maria
To the Lewis family. To say that I will miss Patrick is truly an understatement. In a few short years Patrick had an incredible impact on my life. He is a friend who taught me the true meaning of friendship. We had many conversations about God, and life in general, he was an optimist who never met a stranger. I will miss his bright smile, his optimistic point of view, and his huge, kind heart. I thank God for the opportunity to have known him. I love you my friend, until we meet again. RIH Sir.
