Condolences
Honored to have known Mary Ann at the Star. She was a delightful person. My condolences to the family.
I met Mary Ann in 1982 when I began at The Star. She always was a friendly person with encouraging words for everyone. I have fond memories of my interactions with her.
Best wishes to Mary Ann’s family. Her spirit lives on through all who knew her.

Just seeing her face in this picture reminds me of what a joy she was to work with. The smile you see in the picture reflects a positive person. This old newspaper co-worker sends condolences to the family.
Mary Ann was quite welcoming to me as a new Star employee in 1986. She always represented to me the best kind of warm “family” feeling of the old Star.
Cousins gathered together for Sister Diana’s golden jubilee in August 2014. Stopped by Newton Falls for lunch and reminiscing. So good to see Mary Ann after so many years.
So many happy childhood memories.
Mary Ann and I traveled to Colorado to visit Veronica. We did white water rafting, went to a hot spring, and did a boat ride at Grand Lake. We enjoyed our visit with Veronica and George. We did some hiking and went to a mountain that was 14,000 feet.
Pete and I loved our visits with Mary Ann. We took her to lunch on numerous occasions before she went to the nursing facility.
We have many fond memories!
