Chris was a lovely lady that always TRIED to do the right thing.

She had a tricky relationship with me and my family but she never gave up and was kind to me no Matter what!

She called me at night if she was scared, worried, what ever and we always found a way to make each other feel valued.

We lost touch about five years ago but I prayed for her health and her wellbeing. If I had known, I would have been in the front row to honor the most hardworking and beautiful spirits I knew.

GOD HAS HER IN HIS CARE NOW AS SHE KNEW HE WOULD! Rest in peace kind soul until we meet again.

There, I said it.

It seems like I spent much of my earlier years trying to avoid that label,

But my mom died a week ago, & the least I can do is to publicly acknowledge that she was the person most responsible for shaping who I am...
