I m a old guy and I knew Mike from back in the days of Aurora, Illinois. Hadn't seen him in years and met back up at the truck stop in Plymouth. He was a great guy. My condolences to all the family. RIP my friend.
To Mike’s beloved family. I’ve know Mike since he had the truck stop restaurant and the restaurant north of Plymouth. He was definitely a people person and fed people great food. Mike was such a hard worker and expected the same from his staff. Someone asked how I understood him so well when he spoke and I responded with “I just listen to every third word and he could be understood.” Mike will surely be missed.
I worked for Mike in Plymouth he lived and breathed his restaurant. People came from all around to the "Gas Grill".. no one ever left hungry. Many people considered him their friend.... You will be missed...Rest In Peace Mike
I met Mike while he owned a restaurant in Plymouth. He served the best food ever. If he saw that your food portions were small he would give you more. He would be standing at the entryway and shake your hand as you came in to dine. They don’t make them like Mike anymore. I was proud to call a friend. He will be missed. Grant Ellabarger
