Condolences
So here's to Rick one thing I can say about him is he taught me the best career ever and I'm very grateful for that we had our ups and downs but for the most part he was good to me and my brother and always had some kind of work to do around the house washing the semi cutting grass having fires in the back yard I remember going to the remada with him on New Years to a party I got set up one time this guy Tony thought I had broke in his house and stole his dog well I didnt know that at the time his brother Clay wanted me to take him to his work to get his key so I did well when we got there he said something about me and my friend Bobby breaking into his house then he punched me in the eye I went over to Ricks house he said Mikey Mike's wtf happened I told him he said take me to his house or I'm going to make the other eye match that one so I did Ce knocked on the door asked for Tony Clay said he's at work the next thing I know Rick punched him right in the nose and instantly blacked both of his eyes and told him that's for setting his little buddy up and to never do it again funny shit right there
but most of all I remember going trucking with him learning to drive his ford cab over cl 9000 Tilly going down the highway switching seats was a trick but we did it we was on our way to New York I was still a green horn and we went the southern route up I 70 in WV there was a big mountain Dallas Pike I never will for get it I killed the truck right in the middle of the mountain cause I didn't down shift when I was supposed to boy did he chew my ass Mikey Mike's what's the fuck your gonna kill us heck I didn't know better it was dark out and had very little experience then one time he was looking in the side box took my bag out and put it on the ground we got to Diamond J's a old mom and pop truck stop to take a shower and aww no bag he got to put my bag back in the side box so when we got back home we went to Jessups to get his check and went and cashed it ate at Grey Bro cafeteria then to the Levi shop and bought me new clothes one time we was showering at Diamond Js and he had the key to the shower room and I'm in there taking my shower and the door popped open shower curtain flew open and here was this girl with 2 black eyes and I hear Rick outside the door just laughing his ass off the girl said your friend outside there said you might like some company I said he'll to the naw get outta here all beat up when I came out he said how did you like your little surprise I said you could kept her then we ate dinner there they had a 1 lbs hamburger steak that was great we was in New Plates New York eating lunch after we dropped the trailer at Ultra Seal and was eating and that's the day they gave the verdict for OJ Simpson If theglove don't fit we must aquit then he got the w900 tubby and I was driving he put 8 in stacks on her and boy did she sound good I would go through the tunnels and hit the jake boy it would rumble that's enough you can go 70 no faster I would hear out the sleeper so he was snoring in the bunk and a National Carrier large car rolled by in the hammer lane I tucked out behind him and he was rolling about 90 95 mpe hour so I stuck with him on I 80 for 70 or 80 miles and he turns off an I slowed down going down this hill about 72 mph and out of nowhere he hits me with a pillow and said I told you 70 and that is all your aloud to drive that was a half hour later from me hammering down with the large car after that I was done he said get off at the next exit that you can get off and pull in the truck stop well I pulled off the wrong one he was pissed let me have it we are going to bed and that was that the worst time I had when I got sick that really sucked being on the road well that's some of the great memories I have of Richard thank you for the career you and Joe Vanbuskirk taught me cause as of now I have used it to the fullest I travel the US and it's all cause y'all wouldn't let me quit love ya brother until we meet again RIH Large Units Sincerely Mikey Mike's you will truly be missed
