I was hired by the Marion County Health Department in 1990. I had the pleasure of working with Nancy. She was my Administrative Assistant and my friend. I loved her wisdom, her insight, and her joy! I have kept in touch with her over the years via Christmas and Easter cards....when I got her card back this year, I had a pit in my stomach....

My prayer is that she is singing in the choir of angels -- and wearing those beautiful pearls she always wanted!

You will be missed, my friend. My condolences to her family....

Aunt Nancy was always a bright and bubbly person to me in my youth in London. She was a very intelligent person with a wit to match.

When she moved to the U.S.A. her letters back to the U.K. reflected those qualities.

When I moved to Hawaii I kept in touch with her and Aunt Betty via letters and phone calls and in later years did same with just Aunt Nancy.

Earlier I did have the opportunity to visit Aunt Nancy, Aunt Betty and Uncle Joe while attending a Wireless Technical Course in Ohio in the mid nineties and flew over on the weekend during that course.

They were all as I remembered them from my youth and it was fun to reunite with them all in Indiana.

At her passing I miss my frequent phone calls from Hawaii with Aunt Nancy but it is an opportunity to recollect a Hawaiian

tune which is often played at Services.,

It is called ' Aloha Oe ' and means ' Until we meet again'.

So Dear Aunt Nancy I wish you Aloha Oe.

Nancy Mansi was a wonderful lady. I remember her when I brought her Communion before Covid. She was so devoted to her sister, brother-in-law and the entire Brown Family. May Jesus and Mary be with you.
