Carol, Patty, Julia and Family, I am very saddened about your loss of son, and brother Jon. I have not spoken to Jon in years but my memory instantly floods back to those childhood carefree days of our family visits to Richmond when we kiddos ran around your wooded backyard chasing Britty, the Dog, swimming at the Elks Lodge pool, playing on the swings in the city park and watching 4th of July fireworks together on the park hillside. I also remember funny visits with us gathering at Great Aunt Bernie and Pop Johnny’s home in Holy Family neighborhood of Jasper… with we kiddos playing Candyland in the living room while the adults visited. I see that twinkle in Jon’s eyes resembles Grandpop Johnny’s spirit. I hope that sweet memories like these can help carry you through the sad days ahead. I would like to think that Dad Al, Pop Johnny, and Bernie are all together in Heaven now playing cards or fishing together and lovingly looking down at us. Sending you all hugs of peace and comfort.
