Kathy Jo Campbell Morgan, 68, of Speedway, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Eskenazi Hospital. Born October 30, 1953 in Scottsburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Wallace and Jean Floyd, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a 1972 graduate of Scottsburg High School. Kathy worked as a medical coder for 37 years for various employers. She loved working in the medical field so much that she also taught medical coding classes part time at Harrison College in Columbus, IN. She retired from medical coding in 2017. Kathy was also very involved in a small group bible study at the church she belonged to for many years, Seymour First Nazarene (The Point). Survivors include her daughter, Erika Hunteman (Brian), her four grandchildren, Ethan, Grace, Hannah and Braylon Hunteman; a sister, Marijean Hoene (Phil); a nephew Shawn Akemon (Pamela), and a niece Cami Hoene. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00pm on Wednesday, March 2nd, with a celebration of life service beginning at 2:00pm at Stevens Mortuary in Speedway. Memorials may be made to Misty Eyes Animal Center
