Canadian family sending all our love for the loss of a wonderful person

I remember Ted as very kind and caring and remember that special day when I had been visiting Indiana that trip to the fire hall where he worked. Family was so important to Ted. Rip in peace.

I'll always remember Teddy's friendly greetings at Holy Trinity, in Haughville, during 10:00 Mass on Sunday. He usually sat beside or just behind us and always had a kind word to say. As his hearing began to fail, the VOLUME in his voice definitely didn't! EVERYONE in church could HEAR whatever he happened to be saying.....even if it was during a homily he didn't necessarily agree with. :):) After one of our younger grandsons was born I couldn't wait to let Teddy know that he had a new namesake. Our daughter Haley decided to name the new baby, Theodore (Teddy), because it meant "gift from God"! Teddy couldn't wait to let Barb know about the new little Teddy and the next Sunday he arrived at Mass with a beautiful baby blanket that Barb had made. Teddy will be missed by many and I'm sure he's breakin' a leg in heaven with a polka right now! God rest his soul! Nancy (Whitfield) Rasmussen

I greatly enjoyed working with Teddy on Engine 01 for many years. He was wonderful to work with, had a constant and friendly disposition, was a great relief man and was, by far, one of the BEST COOKS on the job! Rest in peace, dear friend! Steve Rasmussen (RAZZ)

Ted is able to be with his "Barb" at last. May that awareness make your loss easier to accept.
