Cordial condolence to Indianapolis from my parents (Rosi's cousin Walter + Dietlinde), my daughter (Emma), and myself (Herwig). As a 1993/94 Purdue student, I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of the Connors/Schied family -- and with immense pleasure I came back 25 years later to introduce Emma to the people and places of my past.

I vividly remember the last night of our 2019 stay, when we joined hands in Aunt Rosi's kitchen and mused about a next meeting. We settled on the prospect "if not on Earth, then in Heaven", which our dear Rosi confirmed with the simple words: "That's for sure."

My Oma was a beautiful woman inside and out. I'm am thankful for the love and life she gave to us. She showed and proved the family on how to be a strong woman. I always admired.. She willsincerely be missed. She will always be in my thoughts and prayers...I look forward to the day I will get to see her, Opa and my father again...(ich liebe dich means I love you)
