Life is fast. Michael Mull once told me in the hospital many years ago...to appreciate other people around you. It did not register to me then. And I am afraid it is yet an important skill that I am acquiring only this year with true authenticity. I truly do appreciate the character that Dan pursued in his life. For me, I see that he Lived with Strength, when he could have easily given up. Thank you to his immediate family for sharing this time with us. Erika
Dan has been a hero of mine as far back as I can remember. He took me everywhere with him, including his dates with Nancy. He was patient, genuine, kind and loving and I do not remember him raising his voice. He touched more lives than he probably knew and I am so blessed and grateful that I am one of them. I will miss you tremendously.
Dan was one of the most patient people I knew. He accepted me as part of the family right away and could always makes me smile. He loved the bartender at our wedding, because he said she was a heavy pourer. If I remember correctly he said he had like 16 whiskey sours that night. He will be dearly missed.
