I have been a close friend of Jim's for 54 years. We first met in 1967 during a tour of duty in Thailand during the Vietnam Conflict. And we served together later at a Stateside base in Mississippi. After we both retired from the Air Force, Jim and I ended up living just two hours apart in Indiana ... and we always made an effort to visit each other. I was soon "adopted" by his beautiful family. Jim was a wonderful, caring person with a big heart. He would always go the extra mile to help a family member or a friend. He loved his family with his whole being. I am so blessed to have had Jim as a friend. He will be greatly missed. Craig Main, USAF Ret.
