I had the pleasure of working with Kate many years ago, and until today I had no idea of your passing. This saddens me. I loved working with you and your bright and funny personality. Rest in peace Kate.

To the friends and family of Kate Cowen I will keep you in my prayers. I attended St.Rose's elementary school and was a classmates and good friends with Steph. Anyone who knew one of the Cowen girls knew all of them/family. Hold tightly to your cherished memories.

I had known Steph and Kurt Hedegard for awhile then one day there was Steph's sister Kate! She was so funny! She always made me laugh! I'll miss your humor and fast talking. Rest now.

Truly, Kate was an empathetic and kind person! I had the distinct pleasure of working with Kate in 1999 through 2000 at Eli Lilly, on a team comprised of Kate, 2 other team members and I. What a wonderful experience it was! Kate's smile, constant positive attitude and positive outlook on life and every person, was infectious and uplifting! And her laughter, one can never forget! We briefly stayed connected all of these years and it was always so nice to see Kate never change. She will always be remembered! She will always be missed!
