Condolences
I remember Frank from our time together at Marian and then when we were both administrators in Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese. A fine and caring educator and a good man for sure.
Lawrence M. Bowman
Former Asst. Principal at Roncalli High School and Principal at Bishop Chatard High School.
Frank was a wonderful man, definitely a servant leader. His life was a blessing to our world. Sympathy to all.
He was one of my favorite teachers. Bookkeeping was a joy. I even became a business teacher. Chartrand class of 1966.
So sorry to hear about the passing of Frank. He was truly a great man, father, and teacher. He will be missed by all who knew him. So many fond memories of him. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord... Enjoy your much deserved eternal reward.
To the Velikan Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Although it took awhile to call him Frank, he will always be Mr. Velikan to me and so many other Cardinal Ritter students. His name alone brings back memories of a kind, caring, and faith filled high school principal. His faith in God blessed us every day. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.
To the Velikan family.
I am very sorry to hear of Frank's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I think I was 16? (50 now) and he was the principal. I will always remember a hand squeeze between us...I don’t remember any details, only that exact moment, and it MEANT something and I won’t ever forget it. He had THAT kind of impact on many.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Our deepest sympathy to all the Velikan family. I remember our fun days spent together at Marian College. Through the years Jill and I enjoyed going out to eat with Frank as well as chatting with him on the phone. I always enjoyed speaking about sports as Frank was a super-fan and knew much about all the teams. Frank was such a caring and kind person. He was a leader in the field of education, beloved by parents and students. We will miss him a lot but we know that his strong Catholic faith has earned him a very high place in heaven.
Diane and all of you family,
I was so saddened to learn of your dad's passing. He was my favorite teacher ever and a wonderful person.
He always had the best smile.
He will be missed.

I know he an my father had many good times together there in Haughville! He touched so many lives over the years and always had a Hello and smile for everyone. I’ve missed seeing him at mass on Sunday mornings! He is and will be missed by all!
May he now Rest In Peace
Steve & Phyllis Fon and family
My favorite teacher. Loved him. So sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers of peace and comfort for the family.
May God Bless Him what a man. We lived next door to him on Warman St. When we were little we waited in the evenings for him. And we threw the football across the yard to him. He always had Tim to play pass football with my brother Dan and I. You are missed my friend. Respectfully, the Flajs Family.
