I have many amazing memories of Emerson. Family was always around and filled with love and mutual respect and support. I will remember fondly sitting and watching DWTS with him and eating at O’Charley’s. I am grateful he shared his life and home with me. My life is better having known him. Much love to all his family.
My condolences to Emerson's family. He lived across the hall diagonally from me. You hardly ever saw him here without his good friend, Virginia. They often played euchre, watched movies, and went to the dining hall to eat together. Every time I walked by his door, I could tell what they were having for dinner because the aroma coming from his apartment. Oh my gosh, it smelled so good! He occasionally invited others to join him and Virginia to their meals. He was a real sweetheart. When Virginia moved across the street, she wasn't allowed visitors because of COVID. He laughed telling me he wanted to check on her so he walked over there and snuck in her back door. haha He will definitely be missed around here. RIP Emerson.

Em was a high school classmate of mine. Known him for more than 60 years. He was someone you could talk to.
He was a big galoot football player. who was a Marine and was a communications specialist during Vietnam. He was one of the few who also knew the Morse code. He wore his Marine cap proudly..
He was a cool dude. We visited him many times, riding his pontoon boat to the inflow of Cataract Lake.
He loved his family and friends.
We will miss him and his friendly voice and warm friendship..
Our condolences to Carolyn and Family..

Em and I were good friends and classmates in high school. We spent countless hours together playing sports, dating and just hanging out. I also spent many hours with the entire Davis family- Em, his parents and his brother Don, which was lots of fun. More recently, Em has waged an heroic battle against cancer. He was diagnosed with terminal esophageal cancer over a decade ago, but with his fighting spirit he has lived until now. I send my condolences to Don and to Em’s children and grandchildren.

Em and I attended high School together. Many were the parties Carolyn and I attended at Em's parents house, a favored place for such events. Em dominated the sports scene at Park School. Over time we lost all but occasional contact since Carolyn and I left Indianapolis and lived abroad. Somehow his passing, the first in our class I believe, brings a lot of those four years back.
Condolences to his family.

Mr. Davis was a very hard working man. I always remember him being a active dad and coach at our school. He was one of the hard working dads that would be at the plays musicals and events even straight from work to show support. Prayers to his wonderful family and absent from body present with God.
