Memorial Service
Condolences
I just found out! I'm heartbroken! But I know she is with her beloved Lord! And not in pain which gives me comfort. She was such a sweet, sweet woman of God who alwAys remembered you on special occasions with a gift from her heart, sometimes giving gifts just because. Her heart was so giving and loving. I will miss her so much, and have missed her for months till now!
Miss Barbara was the first person who welcomed me to Jesus The Messiah, now known as The Blended Church. She was also the first person I was looking for and so excited to see when I moved back to Indiana. She was such a loving and caring person. You could feel her love for God through her presence and hugs. You could see her love for people through her doeful eyes that radiated God's love. I'm going to miss her beautiful and thoughtful crafts that she made for me through the years and that I still have today. But most importantly, I will miss her and her Christ-like loving spirit. Rest in Heaven Miss Barbara Love you.
While I only knew Ms Barbara thru her sister, my sistah-friend Angela; I discovered a person who shared my love of reading and discovering new ways to interact with the world around us. I pray for the comfort of your family and that your sorrow will pass quickly and lead to the happy memories of the wonderful gift of Ms. Barbara's life.

I remember Sister Barbara as one of the most loving, kind and beautiful souls that I’ve ever met. She cared for others as if her very life depended on it. She always remembered birthdays and gave birthday gifts that were so unique and precious. I still have mine! She lived her life well and was truly a reflection of our Lord. If anyone that I know deserves to be called a saint, it would be Queen Barbara. Reign victoriously, my friend!

Barb was a special person, she loved the Lord, and always remembered ❤ your Birthday and or Anniversary. she would make or buy something special. She loved to buy Avon from me, but didn't have much money. So I gave her the best deals I could. will miss her She was the best listener.
Barbara was a special person! Each Sunday as I made my way around the church to say hi to people it was always such a joy to come to her.. She would greet me with a smile and determination in her eyes. Barbara would have a large bag with several smaller bags in it. I would be her feet and she would direct me to the person each bag was to go to. Sunday was her day to put a part of her heart in those little bags for someone. I will miss her and her smile, but I know God's thrilled to have her home. Robin
Whenever I think of Barbara, I think about her love of God and her strong commitment to Jesus. She encouraged everyone to trust in the Lord with all their hearts and minds. She was very committed to The Blended Church and rarely missed a service.
She loved and cared about everyone she knew. Barbara always took the time to inquire about the things that were important and sentimental to other people. Every year on our birthdays, anniversaries, etc. she gave us something she knew we loved and treasured. Her love, prayers and her genuine concern for family and friends will be missed.
Angela Brown and family, our hearts go out to you at this time of grief. We will continue to pray for comfort and peace to surround your entire family.
Love,
Dehner and Kimmy Maurer
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18.
I met Barbara through the C. L. E. W. Seniors Ministry at The Blended Church. She was not always able to attend but she always sent the cutest, hand crafted little trinkets for us seniors. She had a genuine warmth of God's Love about her. I pray for the comfort and consolation of her loved ones hearts during this time. I did not know her very long but my life is enriched by the time we shared.
Humbly, Ms. Kyle A. Crockett
