I am so very, very saddened to learn today, of Rita's passing.
Being one of her care givers for only eight short months, developed into such an amazing friendship, that I will always truly cherish. She always told me I was her angel, and now I know I truly have an angel of Rita's spirit in my heart. What a blessing from God to have cared for and shared part of her life with...all the loving words of her wisdom and knowledge of our Lord God throughout her life, that she shared with me, has affected me deeply and I treasure them all, in my heart. Love you and will see you soon, Miss Rita, we know that! Butterflies fly free!
Also, all my prayers and thoughts, Rita's great family! Thank you for allowing me to be part of her life! I will miss her deeply, but only for awhile....until we all meet again!

If ever a Saint walked this earth, it was Rita. The kindest , precious and most humble lady I have ever known.
I was on the Board of Seeds of Hope with Fr. Glenn. I spent a lot of time with Rita at our events. I adored her.
Fr. Glenn probably greeted her at The Gate with some kind of a joke to make her laugh !
.
My thoughts and prayers to her family,
Lola Materna
Our condolences to Aunt Rita's friends and family. She was such a sweet and talented woman. We still have and use the beautiful knitted afghans she made for us about 27 years ago. We know she will be missed by many. Calvin was so glad he got to talk to her about a week before she passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you! Calvin and Susan Persohn
Denise, Mike and Cindy--As one of your brother, Doug's St. Joe classmates, and growing up there, I have such good memories of your Mom! The most vivid is her Christmas cookies! So pretty and good! We would trade anything to get one from Doug's lunch.... Didn't happen very often. Your Mom worked so hard for all of us at St. Joe's and for Seeds of Hope. There was a huge welcome party for her in Heaven, and I'm sure Father Glenn was leading the way! God bless. Mary Anne Boarini Noble
