Charles & Rita Garrett were neighbors of Lorriane's parents Maudie and Milam. They were like Grandparents to their kids They grew up with their Grandchildren Jeff & Randy & all grandkids grew up together. Lorraine & the family would come to visit several times a week & we all became more like family as many neighbours did then.

Lorraine, Sidney & Maudie & Milam would do anything for anyone they never met a stranger & were all about family. When Maudie got sick Lorraine was there ever day as well as the whole family. After Maudie passed Lorraine made sure Milam was taken care of. The boys & Scotty cut grass & help with whatever needed done. Lorraine would keep us updated on Sidney & always made sure everyone was taken care of for many many years with Love & A Smile. We are Truly Blessed to have known this Amazing & Loving Family. As close neighbors and friends of Lorraine we would watch her leave early in the morning and get home late at night after being with Sidney all day and every day. She would iron his clothes, make him special meals and spend her day keeping him company. He knew she was at his side. She is the most dedicated and loving wife that any husband could ask for. Our prayers are with her and all of Sidney’s family. Our life is short on earth, but eternal in heaven. May Sidney now Rest In Peace.

Sidney was a good man, he was big on family, and it always showed. He was so kind and respectful to everyone. It was hard not to like and respect him. I am sure he has touched many lives and will be missed by all.
