Obituary of Wilma Aileen Sinks
Wilma Aileen Sinks, daughter of Sallie and James Lawson went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 16, 2020. Wilma was born August 10, 1919 in Pikeville Tennessee. She married Perry Sinks (deceased) in 1942 and they made their home in Speedway. They had two sons Russell (deceased) and Preston (deceased) who were Speedway graduates. In addition to being a loving Wife and devoted Mother she worked at Sears for nearly thirty years. She is survived by two grandchildren, Carrie Sinks and Ely Logan; and great nephews and nieces Steve, Michael, Mark, Macye, MaKade and Reid Lawson.
Private graveside services will be handled by Stevens Mortuary. Donations in honor and memory of Wilma may be made to the charity of ones choice.
Thanks to all her friends who helped in celebrating her 100th birthday last August; And a special thank you to the compassionate and professional care givers at Wellbrooke of Avon and Heart to Heart Hospice of Indianapolis.
