I grew up with Kent. He was my cousin. He was a great guy!

I've worked for R&D a couple times. I recently came back to them for a few reasons. One major reason was Kent. He was always fair and friendly. Someone I could trust, talk to and joke with. I'll truly miss him.

His family was our neighbor for years. Went to school with him and his siblings. My sisters and I spent many hours playing at his parents house when we were kids. My condolences to his family and friends.

Always remember Kent singing to his bride at their wedding! Rest easy.

I’ve known Kent for a very long time. I worked with him for many years. So many memories. Thoughts and prayers for his family and friends. Too soon.

As one of Kent's drivers that he dispatched daily. It will be a different world without him. Always willing to help the drivers out with schedule issues, or family problems etc.. A few weeks ago I left the yard on a Saturday after a long overnight run. As if things weren't already bad enough to spend half the weekend working. I ran out of gas on the way home. I called and without hesitation kent dropped what he was doing came and picked me up to save the day. Took me to get gas and waited around to make sure "that did the trick". Thank you for the laughs and prayers for the smeltzer family. Rest easy Kid.
