Condolences
Dear JoAnn and Joe and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Your dad was always fun to be around... and his life speaks to his faith, hope, and love of God and family!
I'll always remember his hand reaching out to me to share one more piece of candy! That gesture of generosity is Joe Banich. He was a good man!
Eternal rest grant unto him O LORD, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.
Joe, Jeannie and the entire Banich Family....I am so sorry for your loss. Your Father was certainly a kind and funny man that was one of the Heroes of the "Greatest Generation". He was the only person I had met that received a Bronze Star for Valor. Like all heroes, he was humble and did not talk about his accomplishments; he asked about me and my life. I was so impressed the times that I met him. I hope that you and your family gain comfort knowing he is with his beloved wife, Anna.
Rick and I send our condolences to the entire Banich family. Joe will really be missed. Joe was always willing to help at all of the concerts or whatever we were doing. He was a true Slovenian. Rest in Peace Joe.
Dear Banich family,
All my love and prayers are coming your way. He was a wonderful and loving man. Many the beautiful memories you have of him give you some comfort during this very hard time. May God hold him for eternity in the palm of his hands.
Fr. John McCaslin sends his condolences to the entire Banich family and stated what a good man Mr. Banich was! Fr. John also added that he is sorry to miss the funeral Mass due to leaving for Washington D.C.
Our sympathies to all the Banich family. I have many good memories of Joe when I was in charge of the Slovenian Cultural Society! He was always willing to help out in anyway he could. Always sold tickets for dances and concerts that we had! He was a TRUE Slovene!
May he Rest In Peace!
