Condolences
I am sorry for your loss. The loss of a loved one can be very difficult. The Bible can give us comfort and hope for the future, I hope that these scriptures will bring comfort to your family. Revelation 21:3,4, psalms 34:18,John 5:28,29,Isaiah 25:8
My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his Word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise It is possible to see him again. The best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) Please allow God to help you heal by means of his Word the Bible along with visiting the site www.jw.org for a wealth of information about God's future promises for those asleep in death and and for all who are living.
Kerri, we both graduated with Scott and we are deeply sorry for your loss. The last time we saw Scott was our 10 yr reunion, but from what we've read on social media, he stayed the same great guy we knew back in the day. We pray comfort for you, Sydney, his folks and all loved ones.
With our deepest condolences, Scott and Gaynetta McClain
Life brings us many surprises, but this was certainly NOT a good surprise by any means. My heart is broken for you, Kerri, Sydney, Kenny, Joanne. Scott, as you know better than anyone, made friends at every turn he made in life; He had hundreds of friends, and NO enemies. He was a gift & a joy to us all.
Scott and I were barely out of diapers when we met. My mom's cousin, Ione Pickard, was his dear babysitter, and I lived only a block down from her on 9th Street. Knowing him at such an early age made it feel like he was family to me. We graduated from AHS together in 1981.
His cute little smile, with that adorable mole & those rosey cheeks, just lit up his boyish face, and his fun-loving zest for life made everyone want him as their friend. He truly made a difference in the world wherever he touched it.
I am proud & blessed for having known him. He will be missed, but he will live on in our memories.
May God grant you all the peace that passes all understanding, and may you smile when your heart fills with sadness & your eyes fill with tears, for he is closeby, watching you & waiting on the other side.
You are all in my thoughts & prayers!!!!!
In His love,
Suzy Boaz Wallace

To all the Reed family and beyond......
There could not have been a kinder soul, a sweeter nature, or bigger heart than that of Boomer. He had an infectious smile and a laugh to match. We will miss his bear hugs, ability to arrange bar stools and the providing of coasters. We will never be able to listen to the song, Roxanne without hearing his rendition echoing off the wall of Legends late on a Friday night. Scott will remain a piece of our heart until we meet him again.
With sincerest wishes of sympathy and healing for the family,
Laurie and John Serak
When Jimmy called me today and told me I was heart broken.
Like some many, ...frankly any, who knew or ever met him, Boomer was not just the life of a party, he was a friend. A true friend. I'm so sorry that as busy lives, careers and children occupy our time we drifted apart, but never out of my heart. I am honored to have had him as a friend and Fraternity brother.
To his family, please know there are countless people,.. friends, who I'll bet though they hadn't seen him in a while, have and always will, hold a special place in their hearts for him, and will miss him.
Boomer was just that kind of person who makes a mark on you. His smile and laugh come back so easily to mind, though it had been several years since we last saw each other. We had many, maybe too many, wonderful times at IU and the Delta Upsilon house.
Boomer, I love you brother, and will miss you.

Boomer, you will be so missed by so many. We are blessed to have had the privilege of you in our lives. Rest well in heaven, my friend...
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Kerri, Sydney...and extended family.
I am just sooo blessed to have known Boomer. Boomer got me through a real hard time in my life. He was always there for me and made me feel better about everything. Even after the worst period of my life at the time, when I ran into him, it was like running to my security blanket if you will. He made me feel better about everything. Kerri, I was so amazed by your loving attention to Boomer. You would come into Kellys and be up beat and cool and sweet and always made me laugh.. I feel for you and your family. He will be missed, however, he made many lives better by his presence, loving demeanor ,and his every lasting impression he gave to all of us. We will always remember Boomer...Love and prayers to you and your family! I would like to think God needed him up there to help relief the stress down here!
Kerri
