Phyllis M Jarrett, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2016. Phyllis was born January 16, 1933 in Milford, IL to Adolph and Anna (Lehnert) Kelnhofer. She was the 12th of 13 children. She had a long and successful career in real estate, beginning as a Realtor for McClain-Matthews, and as a Loan Officer. She loved spending time in her yard, especially in her gardens. She was very creative - she loved to decorate flower vases, sew, paint, and even build bird houses. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, nine brothers, and granddaughter Corey Jarrett. She is survived by her brother Homer Kelnhofer, daughter Debra (Tim) Downey, son Tom Jarrett, grandchildren Kasey (Stephen) Deputy, Evan Downey, and Erin Jarrett; great-grandchildren Jakob, Isabella and Audrina Deputy; many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
