Ivan "Ike" Templeman, born April 2, 1928 and Patricia "Pat" Templeman , born May 16, 1931, were married for 63 years. In that time, they raised 7 kids, and took in many as their own. Ike and Pat met in 1950, when Ike had been wounded in the Korean War. Pat was his nurse. She got him back in good enough health to be deployed back to Korea, but that didn't stop them from communicating back and forth via letter. Throughout the next two years they built a strong bond and decided to make it official. Ike and Pat tied the knot on November 22, 1952. They both took vows that said, "for better or worse" and "until death do us part". They held true to those vows, until the day they died. Ike and Pat are survived by Ike's brother, Bob (Jenny) Templeman, their children, Cheryl Templeman Wilson, Karen (Darrell) Renick, Robin (Tony) Weaver, Kelly (Meredith) McCombs, Terri Templeman Luebbers, and Brian (Cindy) Templeman, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several people that they took in as their own. They were preceded in death by Ike's siblings, Edna Ramsey, Eugene Templeman and "Dottie" Willis, Pat's sister, "Jean" Burton, their son Patrick Templeman and granddaughter Stacey Phillippe.
