Shirley's twin sister Patricia joined her in death on July 29th 2016.

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his word the bible says at John 5:28, 29 that there is going to me a resurrection. With this hope, it is possible for you to see her again. The best friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." (1Peter 5:7! Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. (Philippians 4:6, 7) Please allow God to help you heal by means of his consoling Word, the Bible. May all the many wonderful memories that Shirley your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.

My Aunt Shirley (and my Aunt Pat) were my 2 favorite aunts. I have a lot of fond memories of them as a kid in San Francisco and the camping trips with my Grandparents. They were like my big sisters in a way. Sadly we have not been able to see each other in many, many years. Although she passes now into the great unknown, I know we will all be together again in another time, and another place.
