My dearest Casey I last spoke to you just a couple of days before you left us. You have been my friend my whole life. I don't know who I will call and talk to when I am sad and need a shoulder to cry on. You have always been there for me. I will miss you so very much! Rest easy my friend until we meet again... My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember his Word the Bible says at John 5:28, 29 that there will be a resurrection. With this hope it is possible for you to see him again. The best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because he "cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) Please allow God to help you heal by means of his consoling Word, the Bible. May all the many wonderful memories that Casey your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.

We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences on Casey’s passing.

The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.

We meet monthly on the first Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, 99 W. Main St, Greenwood, IN 46142 and on the third Thursday at the Faith Apostolic Church, 1212 E. 116th St., Carmel, IN 46032.

If and when you are ready to do so, please join us for either, or both, meetings.
