Dorothy C. LaFave 87, of Indianapolis passed away on March 1, 2011. She was born on September 4, 1923. In 1943 Dorothy graduated from business college. She retired in 1985 after 32 years of dedicated service as a legal secretary for public service (Duke Energy). She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic Minister. Dorothy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lynn T. LaFave and son, Michael LaFave. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Kay (Thomas) Pequignot and Lesley (Jack) Finney; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th Street, Speedway from 10-11 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am at the church.
