Joe Aranjo, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 10, 2016, at the Golden Living Center. He was born a twin in Denver, Colorado, to Margarito and Emeteria Aranjo. Joe was one of eight children. He is survived by brother Alex Aranjo, and sister Ramona Foos. Joe served our country in the US Army during World War II. After his military service, he and his brother Tim opened Indianapolis' first Mexican restaurant. The La Fiesta was a successful family business for over thirty years. Denise Commeville, deceased, and Joe had three children, Steven, Garen, and Cynthia. Joe was blessed with six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Lincoln Memory Gardens Chapel 6851 S. Indianapolis Rd. Whitestown, IN. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
