Condolences
I’m a little late in sending my condolences because I just now realized that Ben had passed away. For whatever reason, I woke up today at 3 am thinking about three fantastic people I worked with at Carrier and how I really missed our camaraderie and friendship. Benny was one of them. Thinking back on the days we worked together Above the production floor brought a smile to my face because he was such a unique individual with such a fascinating view of things. He was always willing to help and a had a great, yet sometimes unusual, sense of humor. When I searched online this morning to hopefully reconnect with him, I sadly found this announcement. Just felt it important for his loved ones to know that he’s still fondly thought of and missed, even by people like me who only worked with him 9 months. I hope the pain of losing him has eased and that you find joy in his memory as I have. The photo is exactly as I remember him.
Hello my name is Sherman Anderson Jr, I'm extremely sorry for loss of Benjamin Webb, and the pain of your family. I hope in time and with the wonderful memories, the pain goes away. There is hope of the resurrection found in the bible. Acts 24:15 says: there's going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. If this verse helps with hope and would like to learn more, you can visit jw.org and learn more hope the bible provides. And if you would like for someone to talk to you about the bible, you can request a person to study the bible and its hope with you at jw.org. I'm sorry again for your loss.
My condolences tot the family and friends. Please know that God is close to the brokenhearted. He will help you to endure and that there is a hope of a resurrection as mentioned at John 5:28,29.
A "good man" indeed! Benny was simply amazing and thoughtful. His patience and knowledge was amazing and he was a joy to work with. I recall him teaching me to use PowerPoint....such a pleasure to recall folks like Benny. May he rest in peace and may peace be with his wonderful bride DD.
I am so sorry to hear of the death of Benjamin. The passing away of a loved one is always with much sorrow. May we have faith and confidence in the Bible's promise of a time when pain, sickness and death are a worry of the past (Revelation 21:3, 4). My condolences are with the family at this difficult time.
Dear DeDe, my heart goes out to you. I know you did everything possible to keep Ben alive & comfortable. He was lucky to have such a devoted, loving wife. I know you are devastated to have lost Ben. Life will never be the same but you must know you did everything possible. I admire you DeDe for all the love & comfort you brought your sweet husband. Take care & my hugs to you. Susie McAtee
I am so sorry for the Webb Family and your loss; I recently lost my Mom. I have found death to leave me with a feeling of helplessness. May I leave you this word of encouragement that has helped me? The Bible says at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 that God hates death, and shows it to be an enemy. He has "a yearning" to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection. He longs to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again. -Job 14:14, 15. My sincere condolences.
I worked with Ben at Carrier. I have spent the last few days reflecting on those days at Carrier realizing that people like Ben make those memories good ones. I pay Ben what I consider to be the ultimate compliment and one I hope is spoken often when my time comes.
Quite simply - "He was a Good Man"!
God Bless.
So Sorry to hear. I worked with Ben at Carrier Indianapolis for many years. He was the only one who believed I was way ahead of my time, and for that I will always remember him. He had a certain way of letting you know he was your friend. It may have looked awkward to some, but that grin on his face was telling you something. Only the people he was grinning at, knew what it meant, and that was the mystique about him. Rest in peace my friend!!!
