My heart is still heavy, I didnt know yur daughter but my daughters did, God truly gained an angel, i dont know why he called savannah so early in life and its not for us to understand but to you mom and dad Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. Today she would be walking across that stage but it is an honor as her parents to recieve what she has achieved through her 12yrs of school. So I salute you in honor of your sweet daughter's memory. May God comfort, keep and give you strength to endure.
I`m sorry for your loss. I am Amy and Ralph Bells niece, and they lost their son Evan almost two years ago. I`m not a parent, and I haven`t lost a child either, but after loosing Evan, you have a different perspective about things. Many things that I`ve heard about Savannah, like lighting up the room when she came in, and always having a smile even if the day was bad, or making others happy when they were having a hard time reminds me of Evan in a way. By all of these things that was said of her, you know that her parents did a wonderful job of raising her! The only thing that I can think of to say to everyone (family, and friends) is to tell your loved ones that you love them everyday. We are not promised how long or short our lives will be on earth. Please remember that!
It is my deepest and most sincere prayer that your family will find comfort and peace in the Arms of Jesus, as He holds you during this most incredibly difficult time. Though I did not know Savannah, I can see from this beautiful tribute that she must have been an amazing young woman, and her beauty shines from within her, out through her eyes and her smile. May your memories take you to places of comfort and eventual joy as you carry her in your heart always. God Bless!
We loved Savannah she would wait on us at McAlisters, come sit at our table, and fill us in on what was going on at home, school, and work. She was the kindest and sweetest young lady we have had the privilege of knowing.
Just wanted to light a candle for a "fellow" BDHS Graduate, Class of 1967!! Love to Savannah, a beautiful name for a lovely young lady! God bless and keep her in his loving arms forever and ever+++ Amen!
We are so very sorry for the loss of your daughter. Our only daughter, Morgan, knew Savannah through the Ben Davis choir and by working at McAllister's. Remember to lean on the Lord and he will ease your pain. Take comfort in knowing your child has touched so many lives. With our deepest sympathy, Connie, Paul & Morgan Barnett
We were saddened to hear of Savannah's death. Mcallister's is one of our favorite places to eat after church on Sunday. Your daughter has waited on us and brought our food to us. Savannah was always such a happy go lucky girl and polite to everyone. She was a delight to know. Our love and prayers!
