Obituary of Frank H. Kosmerl
Frank Henry Kosmerl, 86, passed away May 27, 2015 in Indianapolis, IN. He was born September 13, 1928 in Cleveland, OH to Frank and Louise Kosmerl. He graduated as valedictorian from Collinwood High School (Cleveland, OH), attended Harvard University and was graduated from Case Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed by NASA in Cleveland and at Bell Aircraft in Niagara Falls, NY as an aerospace engineer. He served in the U. S. Army at the Army Chemical Center in Maryland. In Cleveland he was active in his parish and the local Golden Age Club where he enjoyed activities such as group singing. He was interested in music and ham radio. He enjoyed entertaining the children in his extended family.
He is survived by sisters; Josephine Masterson (William deceased) of Indianapolis, Alice Stephens (James L. deceased) of Oakton, VA, nieces; Lynne Marie Stephens (Ken Larson) of Herndon, VA, Jean T. Masterson D.P.M. (J. Carter Williams) of Andalusia, AL, and Mary A. Cataldo (John) of Birmingham, MI.
Frank was a member of St. Christopher Parish (Speedway). Services private. Burial Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland, OH.
