Betty Lou (Meiring) Morgan, 84, Indianapolis passed away March 13, 2015 after a short battle of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. St. Vincent Hospice provided comfort care along with her family allowing her to be in the comfort of her home when she passed. She was surrounded by family, and received her ANGEL WINGS with God's Grace.
Betty was the only daughter of the late Anthony H. Meiring and Catherine E. Meiring. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Daniel Wesley Morgan and daughter, Sharon E. Morgan of the home. Her other surviving children are Theresa D. Brydon, Roxanna J. Horton (Kenneth), Vanessa M. Kestler, Jenifer M. Koehler (Mark), Dennis P. Morgan, and Angelia S. Herring (Steve). At the time of her passing she had 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Since her passing, the 19th great grandchild was born with the 20th on the way.
Betty was working full time for Meijer, Inc. until the diagnosis of the AML. She worked at Meijer for 14 years. Prior to working outside the home, she successfully managed in-home child care for many, many children. She was affectionately know as "Grandma Betty" by all and known for her singing and silliness with the children. Betty was loved by all. She always had a smile, and brightened everyone's day with whom she made contact. She will be greatly missed by all.
