Barbara Jean Harding, 84, of Indianapolis passed away August 28, 2014. She was born December 23, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN to Paul Byers and Dessie Violet (Steele) Carlstedt. Barbara enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was employed as a tutor for IPS for over 40 years. She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Samuel J. Harding. Barbara is survived by her children, Mary (Vincent J.) Neal, Jimmy and Paul Harding; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3 from 4 pm - 6 pm with a funeral service at 6 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis.
