Condolences
Dear Al and Family, I have very fond memories of Kitty. She was such a terrific cook and made outstanding creative drinks! You were both wonderful hosts during race weekend! Kitty was such a vibrant and fun person. No one was a stranger to her. I still laugh when I think about her telling her story from college days about her "well trained" pet monkey. You were all very fortunate to have such a remarkable wife, mother, and friend in Kitty. She is missed. My deep condolences to you all. Regards, Dennis Hunt.

Dear Bauer Family, I may not have been a close acquaintance to the Bauer's but I can honestly say I had the time of my life on my senior Spring Break to Panama City with Kitty, Sandy Feely and Traci Feely. I have not laughed so hard, so many times in one week since. And I'm not sure I ever will again. Kitty was an absolute riot. And when you combined her with Sandy and a few margaritas? Forget it. I also heard many great stories of Kitty from my college cross country coach, who worked with her and Sandy for a number of years. So though I may not have played a big role in her life, I witnessed enough to know she was truly a treasure to anyone fortunate enough to come in contact with her. A rare spirit, gone far too soon. You all have been in my family's prayers since this began, and you will continue to be for quite some time. Deepest Sympathies, The Other Bower Family
Kitty, it just doesn't seem possible that you won't be there when I come to pick up Lainie anymore. Although you are gone from this earth, you will never be forgotten. Your laugh and smile were infections! I'm so glad that Lainie got the chance to meet you and be loved by you. There will always be a place in her heart and mine for her Grandma Kitty. I know we had our struggles here and there, but I hope you know I appreciate everything you did for me and Lainie. You took care of me in that you were there when I needed you...whether you hemmed my pants or gave me food to take home or picked up Lainie if Gordon and I couldn't, I took notice-even if I didn't always let it be known. You and Al always have made me feel like family and I will never forget that. Lainie and I love you and miss you so much already. Things will never be the same without you. I know you will be Lainie's guardian angel and she knows it too. May you rest in peace.
I worked with Kitty in Perry Township and loved when she entered my classroom. I was in for lots of laughs and great stories. Don't get me wrong....she was great with the kids but wonderful therapy for me. So sorry for your loss.
Kitty, you were one of the most witty, funny and lovable people we have ever known. It still seems like I should be sitting at your counter watching you cook and making your famous Skylabs. Chris Hill was right, May will never be the same, but we will toast to you as that is what you would have wanted. Love you!

Kitty-the month of May will never be the same. No matter how late we might be running there was always time to run in and grab some sausage gravey and biscuits.Just sitting at the counter enjoying the many different stories from whoever might come thrunthe door next.usually you had a little to add to each story with that wonderful sense of humor and lovely laugh. You and Al opened your home to so many and I would guess the majority left feeling a whole lot better for stopping by.One of Tom's favorite memories will always be sharing the afternoon at the Indians game with you and your kids and Al.He was so impressed with the love you showed them.So many good memories-too many to write about but they will always be held close to our hearts.God Speed Kitty-you were loved by so many. The Good Lord will have his hands full trying to keep up with you. Love You.
Kitty, You are a wonderful Mother, Daughter, Sister, Wife, Grandmother, and Friend to so many! You were just like a Mother to me and so many others! Thank You for filling my heart and gracing so many lives including mine with the love and kindness you always showed. Life just isn't as complete without you in it, despite I know you are looking down over Al, Gordon, Rod, Amy, all your grandchildren, and friends watching over all and with everyone through every step! There was never a time since a child that nobody I knew of was not welcomed into your house or you did not embrace with your love. There is a lifetime of fond memories to many to say just one... You honored us by the manner of which you lived your life and impacted so many! We will never forget these moments and honor you by them by living our lives like yours! Despite it has been difficult, you prepared for your journey this week with all of those who loved you around and "slipped the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God." I love you Kitty and already miss you.
We will always remember the gathering at the Bauers during the Race Weekends. Kitty was always in the middle with the cooking and hugs and smiles. What a sweet lady and neighbors...loving people. Not to mention the special (Knock your socks off) drinks that always had a signature to the Kiotty creator. Kent would have been in the middle if he was still with us. Enjoy his company and tell him we love him.
Kitty, from our days at Northwestern to the times we shared at reunions, your smile and enthusiasm lit up the rooms. You will always be remembered by all that knew you.
The light that burns the brightest sometimes is extinguished all too soon, as it was with you. Your smile lit the room. Your sense of humor made the party. Your unwaivering optimism and selfless generosity helped me make through a difficult time. Your beautiful family is a reflection of you and Al. You all will hold a special place in my heart.
