Condolences
I am writing on behalf of my mother Wilma Hunt. She was Mary's hairdresser and friend for many years. She is so sorry to hear of her passing but she knew something must be wrong because she had not heard from her in a while. My mother had a stroke seven years ago and Mary continued to call her and send Christmas cards throughout the years. When mother had not received one this year from Mary she knew something was wrong. We tried to find Mary's number but could not. She was such a faithful friend and I am sure missed by many who loved her. May she rest in peace.
To Mary"s Family, We are saddened to hear about her passing. She was a very kind lady and heaven has gained another Angel.
To Mary's family, Iam so sorry to hear that she passed away. May the Lord find you all comfort during this difficut time.
Perhaps this isnt a very warm story but yet a fun one and it is something I do remember while visiting Mrs. Richeson probably sometime back in the late 90's to early 2000's.
I was with her son, Thomas, who invited me over to get a hot meal or snack from his mom's kitchen. Thomas asked his mother to bring out pictures of a recent trip she had taken to Slovenia and describe some of the things she saw there.
In the midst of her story telling, Thomas interrupted and pointed to a woman in the background in one of the pictures that was riding on a bike. Thomas, of course, trying to be cute and clever to his mom, made the remark "Gee mom, you think if Stu and I went over there someday we may be able to find ourselves some beautiful women such as this"? Mrs. Richeson stopped and gave a frown as if she didn't quite appreciate being interrupted and or frowning at Thomas' sophomoric comment, and she looked at both of us, shook her head no, and quickly diffused any more nonsense, and went back to telling her stories.
Thomas and I still laugh about that and I'm sure there are a lot of other amusing times that the family has shared with her. She was a very giving, caring and devoted person from what I learned over the years whilst talking to Thomas.
I know she definitely has a place in heaven and she will continue to shine down upon and bless the ones she loves.
