Obituary of Steven Taylor
Steven E. Taylor, 46, of Speedway passed away February 17, 2014. He was born December 17, 1967 in Indianapolis, IN to Steven R. Taylor and Peggy R. (Boswell) Taylor.
Steven worked at Gema as a project manager. He was baptized catholic, but attended different churches. Steven enjoyed spending time with his numerous friends and attending family functions. He was an avid softball player who played for Indy Machine and numerous other teams. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and watching basketball, especially Ohio State. Steven was a Colts fan as well as a Pacers fan. He was an outgoing guy who made friends wherever he was. If he was at a party, in a group of people or at an event, people would gravitate to him. He had an immense personality and an infectious smile and he made people laugh easily. Steve was the kind of person that if you needed anything, all you had to do was ask. If it was possible he would help. He loved all kinds of animals, but especially liked cats. Steve liked staying busy and was always finding something to occupy his time. He was amazing at anything he decided to do. He was a beloved son, father and brother. He cherished his friends and family and would want all to remember the good times.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Angela M. Taylor; maternal grandmother, Betty L. Boswell; paternal grandparents, William Taylor and Marybelle Lewis; step grandmother, Barbara Bell and uncle, Charles Thomas Shepherd
