Obituary of Lucille Fischer

Lucille M. Fischer, 89, of Louisville, KY formerly of Indianapolis, IN passed away February 7, 2014. She was born May 22, 1924 in Cincinnati, Ohio to George Brunst Schulte and Stella Weickel-Schulte. Lucille retired from W.H. Blocks Department Store and was active in St. Michael's Parish Women's' Club. She was a mother of 5 children, caregiver and homemaker. Lucille was preceded in death by her loving husband, Aloysius (Jack) John Fischer, who she was married to for 57 years; sisters, Sr. Agnes Marie Schulte CDP and Sr. Georgianna Schulte CDP; brothers, Herbert Schulte and Robert Schulte. She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann (Kenneth H.) Fischer-Hill, Jane Ann (John Joseph) (Fischer) Misch; sons, John Allen (Cheryl Lynn (Stofko)) Fischer, Thomas Michael (Patricia Marta (Townsend)) Fischer and Joseph Michael (Donna Marie (Hemelgarn)) Fischer; grandchildren, Julie Marie (Jeffrey Paul) (Misch) Henley, Michele Ann (Jason Robert) (Misch) Rothermund, Joseph John (Stepanie Janelle (Breece)) Fischer; Brian Lee (Marie Elizabeth) Fischer, David James Fischer, Jessica Erin Fischer, Jakob Michael Fischer, Daniel Joseph Hill, Christopher T. Hill and Kathleen Susan Hill; 14 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 11 at 10:30 am with visitation from 10 am until time of Mass at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 3354 W. 30th St., Indpls. Burial will follow at St. Malachy West Cemetery, 4492 E. U.S. Highway 136, Pittsboro, IN 46167.
