David Griswold, 69, of Indianapolis passed away November 7, 2013. He was born March 1, 1944 in Indianapolis, IN to Harry and Mary (Wimsett) Griswold. He graduated from Brownsburg High School and attended the John Herron School of Art. He also served in the United States Air Force in 1963. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Loretta F. Griswold; daughters, Susan (Matthew) Tamer and Kathleen (Robert) Terando; granddaughters, Amy and Cena Tamer; brother, Daniel (LouAnn) Griswold and sister, Barbara (Jerry) Powell. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12 from 5 pm - 8 pm with a service at 7 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that one performs a small act of kindness towards a stranger.
