Dorothy Nicoloff Miskowiec, 80, of Indianapolis passed away October 27, 2013. She was born July 24, 1933 to the late Michael and Slava Nicoloff. She was a 1951 graduate of George Washington High School, one of the schools first girl cheerleaders. She married her husband of 33 years, Edward (Peanuts) Miskowiec in 1952. He preceded her in death in 1986. Dorothy worked in retail for 22 years, retiring from the K-Mart Corporation and Meijer. She is survived by her beloved sons, Edward and James Miskowiec; brother, George; sister in law, Franky Nicoloff; nephew, Gregg Nicoloff; three grandchildren, Eddie, Molly and Wesly Miskowiec and great grandson, Gabriel Keith Miskowiec. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30 from 4 pm - 8 pm at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th, Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 31 at 10 am in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 901 N. Holmes Avenue, Indpls. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
