Melodye K. Hall, 57, of Beech Grove passed away September 28, 2013. She was born in Dallas, TX on November 29, 1955 to Robert and Edna (Hilley) Hester. She was employed at Steve Blaschke Trucking, Kirby Risk and Cornerstone Trucking. Melodye enjoyed going fishing with her husband, Danny, whom she always out fished. She was the slug bug champion of the world, who loved spending time with her family and friends and loved life. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Osborn. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Danny L. Hall II; sons, Thomas Swanzy of Franklin, IN, Michael Swanzy of Carrolton, TX, Aaron Ward of Beech Grove, IN, Danny Hall III of Indianapolis, IN, Jonathan Hall of Beech Grove, IN and Nicholas Hall of Anderson, IN; sisters, Vicky Main of Dallas, TX and Beverly Owens of Athens, TX; brother, Craig Hester of Ft. Worth, TX; granddaughters, Chelse, Clarissa, Christin, Allison, Madison, Brittany and Jaydon Swanzy, Ivy ward and Lilly Cox; grandsons, Justin Stevens, and Jacob Swanzy; great-grandson Ryan McConnell. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4 from 3 pm - 5 pm with a funeral service at 5 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls.
